This Massive 20,000-Square-Foot Mural Honors COVID-19 Healthcare Workers and Victims

Jorge Rodriguez-Gerada has completed a 20,000-square-foot mural in Queens, New York to honor frontline healthcare workers as well as those who have lost their lives to COVID-19. Called Somos La Luz, translated to We Are Light from Spanish, the work was designed to highlight what's happening to communities of color amid the pandemic.
